Welcome to my web page.

My family think I'm a bit nuts: so be it.  I do admit I'm a bit obsessed with my genealogy hobby.  Any vacation to Europe includes stops at old churches and graveyards, my kids are used to it now and tease me about it. Aside from going to the 'homeland' my dream trip to take on my own, or with a genealogy friend, is Salt Lake City.  The Family History Library has millions of records from all over the world, and it's all free and technologically modern.  I went once with my friend Cathy and can't wait to do it again.
It is my passion; it is what I get excited about.

On these pages you will find my ancestry information. I will try to link to photographs, documents or other interesting pages that relate to my family.  So remember to click on the links which are underlined and should be in orange.

If you are related, or just passing through, please
email me, I'd love to hear from you. I hope this project is one that all the family can enjoy for many generations.

I am just learning how to operate our SLR camera in hopes of taking some nature photographs.   For now I have lots of family photos on the Fickr web site, for my family photos go to www.flickr.com and click on the empty search button, then the tab named 'people', enter my name and you should find my pics under the screen name 'find your roots'.  If you want to see the private photos, which are the ones of living relatives, please send me an e-mail and I'll invite you to Flickr.com you have to be a member but it is easy and doesn't cost anything for you to view.

2010  marked the 100th anniversary of my paternal grandparents' wedding in Alameda Saskatchewan.  In dedication to them I am developing a web page with information, pictures and documentation about their lives a project that my family can enjoy for many generations.
